I am a direct disciple of the founder of Gongkwon Yusul, holding German nationality.

What began as a small movement in Münster, Germany has now grown into something far greater.
When I first laid down the mats in a quiet training space in Münster, no one could be certain how far this path would go.
Yet a single decision creates direction, and that direction eventually becomes a journey that changes many lives.

As a direct disciple of the founder, I did not simply learn techniques.
I inherited a philosophy and a way of life. Gongkwon Yusul is not just about fighting.
It is about discovering yourself through movement and growing within that process.

I established a Gongkwon Yusul club at the University of Münster and founded the German Headquarters, training students who now continue this path.
Today, there are 18 dojangs across Germany, and in each of them, new stories are being written every day.

Training is never easy.
We fall, we rise, and we challenge ourselves again and again. Through this process, we gain more than skill.
We build trust, we grow together, and we form bonds that go beyond nationality. It becomes a team, and eventually, a family.

Every year, I travel to Korea to train directly under President Kang Jun. Those moments are not just about learning upgraded techniques.

They are about reconnecting with the essence of Gongkwon Yusul. I bring that knowledge back to Europe and pass it on to my students. In this way, Gongkwon Yusul does not simply spread.
It lives and breathes within each practitioner.

This journey is far from over.
In fact, it is only the beginning.
